So I've decided to get into better shape. It's been a long two year battle of the bulge since the Princess was born and I've gotten on and fallen off the wagon more times than I can count. But I keep trying, and keep plodding along. I decided on Tuesday to do some yoga via the on Demand fitness shows on cable because I wanted to do something different. I was thinking I would like a nice easy workout to ease myself back into working out again.
How wrong I was.
Yoga. hurts.
Yoga is deceiving. While you are doing the poses, your all, "oh this isn't bad, I can do this", and then the burn hits. And the burn continues. One simple move can induce a burn that lasts a week. It's also why the people who practice yoga have fantastic bodies.
I'll be doing some more yoga today, because even though it burns, it burns in a good way.
